Today was the day that I got to pick up my sclerals. They decided to make sure that My contacts would fit well and in a surprise to both of us we managed to get the fits correctly the first time it appears.

It turns out my sclerals are 17mm and not 16 due to last minute changes. I also found out that the sclerals fit in the standard clear care case.

Today I finally got the call from Millers Family Eyecare that my sclerals are ready.

I am set to get them picked up and determine if the fit is good Thursday.

I am hopeful that I will get to at least take one home with me as fitting sclerals isn’t exactly a guaranteed perfect fit on the first time. But things appear to still be going in the right direction now. I will also find out how much my insurance will cover these sclerals.
