As of today the existence of my cataract is confirmed. I am surprised that it isn’t effecting my vision any worse than it is being that the cataract is right in the center of my lens.
My left eye’s cornea graft is still in great shape and thanks for the DALK transplant my Endothelium (the lower layer of the cornea) of which wasn’t transplanted survived the transplant unscathed thus eliminating the additional risks of having cataract surgery.
My right eye is still perfectly clear. No indication that my keratoconus is getting worse.
Surgery is currently scheduled April 8, 2020
